Generation 2, Part I: Let’s Get Ready to Rrrrumble!

A major part of the chaos was Holly and Brooke’s feud. I don’t know why they don’t get along, but from day one it’s been mouth battles and poking. Sometimes there’s a little pranking involved. Either way, it shoots Holly’s social into the red and she sobs a lot. The two also refuse to do anything else but poke and slap one another. It’s so nerve-wracking to watch them waste precious time doing that while Star is at work. They literally follow one another around, waiting for a chance to get an insult or two in.
It escalated when Star got pregnant. I tried to have her keep the peace, but with them following one another around… it was difficult. Stupid mean sims!

In the midst of all that, Chastity dipped into aspiration failure. I have no idea how or why… I don’t recall anything in particular happening. Either way, it was my first shrink visit. Curses, Chastity! Why did I make you Knowledge? Knowledge sims drive me batty.
What? I should’ve kept up with her LTW? Shush! This is quite obviously the fault of the aspiration and not of the controller because the controller is all-knowing and would never, ever neglect her sims to do other things on her nearby laptop and forget about LTWs and whatnot. So nyeh!

Eventually Star gave birth to a boy that the random generator dubbed “Hector”. Okay, Hector Lex isn’t too bad… but what’s up with that skintone?! How can the custom one be fading out already? Oh, right… Holly and Brooke have the same skintone, increasing it’s chances in overtaking my carefully planned genetics. Curses again! I want a purple sim!
Chastity mirrors my anguish well. Then again, she’s probably just angry that it’s a boy. Don’t worry, Chastity. He won’t be the TH… I want purple skin! He’ll just hang around a bit until I can ship him off to Uni. I might use him later for something or another.

And, I thought things were bad when my Sims just shoved and slapped each other all day. My Sims never got into an all out brawl! I fixed the bed problem by selling the double bed and setting up three Trianon bunk beds which everyone sleeps in. They often fight over who relaxes/sleeps where but at least everyone gets a bed! I only bring out the double from the attic when it’s time for some woohoo.
I am really loving this story! It’s definitely very different from how my own challenge went and is way more entertaining.
