Generation 2, Part II: Time’s Up
Shortly after Luther’s transition, I had Star phone the headmaster. The visit went surprisingly well and Luther got accepted into Private School. Hector’s grades were terrible at this point, as he was a teen and I sort of neglected his studies. He eventually hit the books and got a grade high enough to be shipped off to college, but that’s about the only interference I made towards his grades.
I tried to keep up with Luther’s as much as I could, but I was also busy having Star force Brooke into skill building. I was going to get that perma-plat whether the sim wanted it or not! So Luther ended up with a B average, for the most part… meaning no scholarship. Bah.
It was finally Star and Brooke’s time to age into elders. For the most part, they aged gracefully… though poor Brooke had the unfortunate condition known as “my face looks awesome as an adult, but skeletal as an elder!” It was a little frightening until I realized it only added to the personality of her style of dress.
Both of them probably aged in mid green, meaning their time would be somewhat short. This was worrying because they didn’t have children until mid-adulthood and little Luther was still a child. I hoped Star would hold on long enough for Lex to head off to college.
Right before Hector left for University, there was another roach outbreak. I hope this also isn’t becoming a tradition! Thankfully, no one caught the flu and Star easily disposed of the annoying little critters. The big question is… who kicked over the trashbin? It’s got to be a townie or a neighbor… but I have no idea who. I’ve never caught anyone near it and I’m normally too preoccupied to bother watching sidewalk walk-bys. Whoever it is, they better hope I don’t find out!
I never mentioned it, but Hector was a Romance teen. He’s now sitting idly in the college bin… where he’ll probably remain for quite sometime.
