Generation 3, Part I: The Buggy Professor

Star had lived a little longer than I had first intended, but I didn’t mind. I especially didn’t mind when she left behind a platinum stone! Woohoo! It was about time I got one. It must’ve been due to all that smooching and whatnot she did with Brooke after work.
Having them on the same schedule really helped… and it kept them out of my hair. It also kept them from cosntantly following around Adriana and Luther. Which was especially good, because Adriana and Star didn’t hit it off too well. Negative relationship signs all around!

I had been putting Luther into overdrive, trying to achieve his LTW as soon as possible. Unfortunately, he had a large span of days off before he could go to work and get the promotion, so it was a good time for Adriana to get pregnant. Well, okay, that’s not true. I panicked and got Adriana pregnant incase she was doomed to be bugged forever. If I had to get rid of her, I at least wanted a child out of the deal.
She wasn’t very good at being pregnant, so it was a good thing Luther was home. Adriana would get stuck in the cycle of “too hungry to sleep, to sleepy to eat” where she’d play musical beds. She’d stay in a bed for five sim minutes, get up and complain about how hungry she was, and then move onto the next bed until I finally had Luther cook for her. I love that you can force sims to eat by clicking on the serving platter. There needs to be an option “Call Stupid Hungry Sim To Get Some Food”!

Eventually it was time for Brooke to pass on. Despite her fish face, she was quite happy to be going and left behind a nice platinum stone. Her ghost appeared before Star’s. In fact, before Star appeared in spectral form, Brooke had already scared both Luther and Adriana. That’s mean sims for you!
It was nice to have the elders out of the house. Since Star left prior to Brooke, Brooke spent her time being generally annoying due to her depleting social. Thankfully, grim took her before any bunnies could come knocking.

I just discovered your blog and I love your style of picture-taking! Looks like you’re having a lot of fun and frustration with the challenge as well!
