Generation 4, Part I: A Trip to the Otherside

Guy had an uneventful four sim years at college. Unfortunately, his return home wasn’t quite the same. Roaches everywhere! Okay, really… this is getting old. To make matters worse… they all got the flu. It was like a row of dominoes… as soon as Guy started stomping, the pop ups came. Buh.
It didn’t take more than a day or two for everyone to regain their health… but it was still quite annoying. Anyway, I had Guy change his aspiration in college and he ended up Family. I was scared he’d have some ridiculous LTW, but all he wants is to reach his Golden Anniversary. I’m actually kind of glad to have a really easy one… (little did I know…)

The dormies at college were pretty “blegh” and Guy didn’t really take to any of them. So I decided to try for another professor. I remembered seeing a fairly attractive one… but I had no idea what classes she taught. So for his first few semesters, Guy constantly changed majors… in search of the illusive professor. Every other professor was old, so I was glad when I finally found her. It only took until a semester prior to Senior year!
Turns out she’s a Knowledge sim. I forgot to check her LTW before having the job roll situation, but luckily… they went along well. She went into the criminal track and, wouldn’t you know it, she wants to be a criminal. Very nice. She doesn’t have very good skills… I can tell she has a little of everything by comparing her skills to Guy’s (using career rewards to check and see if he can teach her any). Her only maxed skill is cooking… which I found out quickly when she whipped up a batch of lobster thermidor.

A day or two later, good old Luther reached the top of the Artist career track. He also brought home a very, very nice bonus. In fact, all the sims but Sadie brought home hefty bonuses that added to the family coffers. By the end of my playtime, they were teetering towards having a million simoleons [networth]. Very nice! I think the max the little sim money counter can handle is 99,999… but I’m not sure, as I’ve yet to ever reach it (I’m not a big cheats person despite my love of hacks).
Since Guy doesn’t have a career-related LTW, he’s free to jump careers. Despite this, I put him in the Paranormal track with the intention of him getting to the top. There’s only two days of work and the hours aren’t insane like with the Ecological Guru. This would ensure he’d always be home incase any accidents were to happen (once again, if only I knew…).
Plus, it’s just funny to imagine a purple dude named “Guy” as a Cult Leader.

Ooh, suspense! Was it a purple baby? Boy or girl? This is really going to mess with my head

Now that’s not nice! Is it purple? Did they get back together? Come on, we’re in agony here!!

What a cliffhanger! At least you let us know that she was ressurected alright. It’s not against the rules to just delete the tombstones is it? I didn’t think it was when I read them so that’s what I’ve been doing… Great entries, by the way, your isbi challenge has gone so differently from mine and has been so much fun to read.
