Generation 4, Part I: A Trip to the Otherside

Chastity made sure to give the newest resident of the Lex household a warm welcome. Unfortunately, Sadie wasn’t as impressed and ended up wetting herself. Welcome to the family! Eventually she’d come to love the ghosts and they’d come to love her and all the scaring would result in Sadie being in an almost constant state of platinum… which means effortless job promotions!

The only time the ghosts really, really bother me is when they cause my sims to play musical beds. They go to bed, get kicked out by the scare in their queue, it either drops out or takes place, then they switch to another bed. Rinse and repeat until morning. Blegh.

Who better to teach you to lie than a Cult Leader himself? Teaching skills isn’t as bad this time around. Probably because Guy reached Cult Leader pretty quickly and has a lot of time on his hands. I’m still having a little trouble distinguishing exactly what skills Sadie needs work on, so I have Guy trying to max out the three main skills for criminal; body, mechanical, and creativity.

He’s less than happy about this. Family sims aren’t quite as enthused about learning as Knowledge sims… but still, they get the job done. Sometimes he even had skill wants… but mostly, just inane actions involving Sadie clogged up the slots.

After a sim week or so, it was time to get down to work. I was hoping that Sadie would be a good pregnant sim and not be as horrible as Adriana was. I figured she might be, as thus far, she’d been a pretty smart cookie. The only thing that got her off track while pregnant were the naughty ghosts. They kept chasing her out of the beds if she dared tried to rest at night. What have the spooks got against pregnant women?

I’m a little worried she won’t have a purple baby. I really, really don’t want two sim kids again. The homework sucks and it just seems to make the entire process drag out more than it needs to. I know the purple will eventually die out, and with this being the fifth generation… I might just have to give up my hopes.

  1. Ooh, suspense! Was it a purple baby? Boy or girl? This is really going to mess with my head

  2. Now that’s not nice! Is it purple? Did they get back together? Come on, we’re in agony here!!

  3. What a cliffhanger! At least you let us know that she was ressurected alright. It’s not against the rules to just delete the tombstones is it? I didn’t think it was when I read them so that’s what I’ve been doing… Great entries, by the way, your isbi challenge has gone so differently from mine and has been so much fun to read. :)
