Generation 5, Part I: Say ‘Hello’ to My Little Friend!

The first day in their new home, Adriana decides to christen it with a platinum headstone. It’s too bad she didn’t get to enjoy the new Glamour Life-enriched digs! Speaking of which, you’ll notice I had a lot of fun with the Stuff Pack whilst building this new house. I’m glad they finally gave us some not-so-bizarre “modern” furnishings!

Quite some time later, Guy fulfills his LTW. Hooray for Golden Anniversaries! Don’t be fooled by Guy striking a pose, he didn’t do it willingly. I used one of my animation hacks. I couldn’t help it–they all look so “bleh” when they fulfill LTWs. It just isn’t right! They should be THRILLED to fulfilling their life’s wish! I’m not sure if the pose conveys “thrilled” so much as “yikes, I think I sat on the broom handle!”

Ah well, you can’t win them all!

It took me maybe an hour and a half to run Faith through college. In that time, I managed to make her fall in love with a local mait–err… I can’t spell that Frenchy stuff. Let’s just call him “the dude who seats people”… or, better yet, let’s use his actual name; Adam. Adam Mellon.

I was a little hyped to see what my new system could do, so I went wedding-crazy. There were nearly twenty sims in the house… it was incredibly chaotic. I made the mistake of putting the toasting set out. Oh yes, there were a lot of “accidents”…

  1. Ooh, two shiny new updates for me to ogle. I very much enjoyed this one, laughing out loud at the “sat on a broom handle” comment and the one about finding a sane person who works for Maxis — ooh, BURN! Haha. Wonderful commentary as usual, and your pictures look mahhhhhvelous! Also love the new decor with your Glamour stuffs. Very very nice. Off to read the next update!
