Generation 5, Part I: Say ‘Hello’ to My Little Friend!

Our buddy Adam is a Family sim with a LTW want to reach his Golden Anniversay. Definitely doable, kudos for being an easy-to-please Family man, Adam. He ended up going into the military, where he got two promotions without any interference on my part. Very nice!
Of course, being the family sim he is… he quickly dipped into the red. Faith was a little busy trying to reach her LTW ASAP… as she started with only two promotions to go. I just wanted to get it done and over with, so poor Adam got ignored and pitched several fits.

As for Guy and Sadie, they just sort of hung out. I was a little disturbed at how much “hanging out” they did. In fact, they would often hang out and completely ignore their needs until they bottomed out and it was like a stampede to see who could reach the stove/toliet first. I’d question their logic, but it’d be pointless. Trying to find logic in Sim behavior is like trying to find sane person who works for Maxis. It just isn’t gonna happen.

When they weren’t hanging out obsessively, they were interacting obsessively. These two are a two-bolt couple and they act like a three-bolt one. What’s up with that? They literally follow one another everywhere and are quite content to spend their mornings, afternoons, and evenings doing absolutely nothing but interacting with one another… over and over and over again.
I’m a little frightened to see who goes first. The one left behind will likely go insane. Talk about “dependency issues”… yikes.

Ooh, two shiny new updates for me to ogle. I very much enjoyed this one, laughing out loud at the “sat on a broom handle” comment and the one about finding a sane person who works for Maxis — ooh, BURN! Haha. Wonderful commentary as usual, and your pictures look mahhhhhvelous! Also love the new decor with your Glamour stuffs. Very very nice. Off to read the next update!
