Generation 5, Part I: Say ‘Hello’ to My Little Friend!
Poor Faith. It was becoming a daily ritual for her to come home and remove some stinky, burnt mess from the stove. How did it get there? Well, Guy or Sadie would decide they were hungry and start cooking something, only for the other to enter and begin the obsessive interactions that go on until they pass out. Since logic doesn’t exist within the sim universe, no one ever pays any attention to the forgotten food… no one except Faith, that is. Poor girl.
That’s not the only problem, however. It seems the calm between in-laws wasn’t to last. Adam has decided that he absolutely hates poor Guy. In fact, he hates Guy so much that he will spend the majority of his time picking, poking, slapping, and pushing him. He enjoys torturing the former TH day in and day out. It’s painful to watch, really. Guy just runs away and cries.
I think Adam is in dire need of a hobby that doesn’t involve the mental abuse of one’s in-law.
Despite all the dissention in the household, Faith claws her way to the top of the business world. She looks a little preturbed, probably worried she’ll find something growing on the stove again.
I have her change careers immediately. She’s a Fortune sim, so she thrives on promotions and extra money. All the better, I figure! Their coffers are a little lower (by about 100,000 or so) due to the construction of the new house and I want to continue building up the networth.
Ooh, two shiny new updates for me to ogle. I very much enjoyed this one, laughing out loud at the “sat on a broom handle” comment and the one about finding a sane person who works for Maxis — ooh, BURN! Haha. Wonderful commentary as usual, and your pictures look mahhhhhvelous! Also love the new decor with your Glamour stuffs. Very very nice. Off to read the next update!
