Generation 8, Part III: Teenage Wasteland
…Annnnd we’re back! Kicking off this update is Monica Lex, displaying her complete lack of dancing skills, despite being a teenager. She’s wearing the OfB teen girl outfit I mentioned in the last actual entry. I think it’s pretty cute, especially for a Maxis outfit. Then again, I’m pretty pleased with the majority of the Glamour clothing (despite it being a small amount at best). In true Pleasure sim fashion… Monica has the ridiculous LTW of 50 1st dates. Sorry, sweetie… no way you’re becoming the TH now!
Little Noble became a cute toddler, despite the poor bugger getting stuck in that horrid pink tux. What’s up with that, anyway? Seriously, who thought that was a good idea? I’m thinking maybe it’s a joke. Like those annoying “bear” toddler clothes. The Maxis folk were probably sitting around, thinking of a way to annoy the crap out of us. Yeah, yeah… laugh it up while our poor toddlers are being confused for bear-human hybrids and throwbacks to the Bill Gates ’80s era nerd.
His name is Noble not ‘Ducky’. Sheesh.
Hunter brings home his cousin, Max Lex, from school. Yay! I’ve been waiting for the relatives to pop up. They struck up a friendship and got their game on. It was really cute. Too bad they’ll be out of sync. Ah well, I don’t have time nor patience to rotate all those houses. MAJOR kudos go out to those of you who do it. I’d go crazy.
YAY! Mao update! I would have commented earlier, but I got interrupted and just got back to it now. Hooray hooray, what an eventful update! Lots of aging up, and wow, Andre and Unix don’t even look like elders! Great genes, indeed. Noble is definitely a pretty boy — I can’t wait to see him all grown up. And Mao, your pictures are SO gorgeous, they make me drool very unattractively. They’re just amazing. And I’m not just talking the image quality — you definitely have an artistic eye. The angles, the colors, the lighting, all great! Thanks so much for updating!

Great update! I agree with Jen…I didn’t even know that was Andre and Unix’s elder pictures! Hehe, they still look so young! And Noble is definitely a cutie-pie! So what if he’s just a teenager…he’ll be a man soon!

Thanks for the comment over on my blog. I saw the link to yours over on the forum too, so I thought I’d stop by. And you have a wonderful blog yourself. Gunna read through a bit and get more caught up, but I just gotta say that Noble is already gorgeous. I want to pet his hair. Blond hair on those dark-skinned sims is such a wonderful combo.
