Mao is Surrounded by Idiots!

While I wait for Maxis to fix what they broke (and trust me, they broke a LOT), I’m going to work on my other project, which is essentially a story I created for the purpose of telling through The Sims 2. Between exams and projects and just messing around with other stuff in The Sims 2… I haven’t even managed to get the TH out of college yet. The lot of them are about halfway through. I’m really, really dubious about pushing them out with University looking as buggy as it is. I don’t want to lose them. We’ll see if I get brave over the weekend or not. If not, I may just wait for a patch… as I’ve gotten this far and I do not want to lose my progress. I am making it to generation 10!

I’m definitely stopping at generation 10, I think. My interest has waned and ISBI has become way too easy for me. So we’ll see what I end up doing after this is over. Noble will be the last TH… so he better make it a good one!

We open up with Noble examining the remnants of a very squished bug on the bottom of his shoe. I’m not entirely sure how, but there was a major roach infestation issue at the Lex house. While the house and family has experienced their fair share of roaches, never have they endured something of this size! Everyone had the flu, everyone was coughing and hacking, and there were at least three roach swarms skittering about! It was truly disgusting.

…Annnnd we’re back! Kicking off this update is Monica Lex, displaying her complete lack of dancing skills, despite being a teenager. She’s wearing the OfB teen girl outfit I mentioned in the last actual entry. I think it’s pretty cute, especially for a Maxis outfit. Then again, I’m pretty pleased with the majority of the Glamour clothing (despite it being a small amount at best). In true Pleasure sim fashion… Monica has the ridiculous LTW of 50 1st dates. Sorry, sweetie… no way you’re becoming the TH now!

Poor Unix goes into labor while her mother and husband are duking it out behind her! All that stress can’t be good for the incoming baby, who turns out to be a girl the RNG dubbed ‘Monica’–Monica Lex. For some reason, that strikes me as a name that would be present on a video of questionable morals.

Anyway, no baby picture, because I am a bad, bad simmer. She’s got green eyes and brown hair, medium skintone.

This post starts with Sirus moving out and getting hitched. Finally. He was driving me bonkers with his constant trashbin kicking. It was like a constant swarm of roaches had overtaken the Lex home, with everyone hacking and coughing or crying. That’s the longest period of time I’ve ever had sims have the flu, sheesh!

Anyway, Sirus married Romance-minded Tina. They have three bolts–hooray–and live across from the Lex house.

I’ve decided that Unix is going to be my TH. She’s the most unique out of the rest–the only one who inherited the majority of her father’s features–and I just plain like her. Watch her end up a Romance sim with a LTW to have 20 lovers or another Family sim with the ridiculous want to marry off six children! Well, there’s always the college re-roll, right? Right.

The above picture can only mean one thing; Amy is pregnant. Again. This time it was intentional, however. I actually did have them Try for a Baby. If they have three children, that means each child can have a maximum of two kids and fulfill Max’s LTW. This also means I can take the pressure off my future TH. Sure, having all these kiddos running about is fun and exciting… but it slows down the gameplay quite a bit, and I’d like to eventually “finish” this challenge!

Don’t worry, Amy. This will be the last one, I promise.

When last we left the Lex family, Amanda was pretty pregnant. She wasn’t a bad pregnant sim… except she made a few not-so-good meal choices. Seriously, Amanda, what part of the flies buzzing around it and the green funky waves didn’t you get? And what of Faith? Couldn’t she have at least warned the silly pregnant sim that the food is quite obviously rotten? Sims, sigh.
